Digital bookmarks, full-text search, and media - the media revolution was also the book not without the prejudice. The proliferation of the World Wide Web inparalle to the rapid development of computer technology allowed the digitization of the book and formed out the E-book an a new form of publication. For about ten years can books only print, but made available electronically, which means some changes to the book trade and traders. Modern readers, called also E-reader, allow a whole library on a single device storage. In the process, the individual E-book is available for the printed book in his reading quality in nothing and also enables inserting electronic notes, and bookmarks, full-text search for specific words and the combination of text with image, audio and video. However, the E-book can write still no success story since its emergence in Poland. Particularly high prices for the readers hold still many readers of the benefits of the E-book. The printed book ist still for many people an integral part of their everyday live - too much as it already would be exchanging that through the E-book. A situation that raises some questions: Is the E-book assert itself as a medium and long term to replace the printed book? Can the E-book in addition to the newspaper, radio, television and book to be understood as a new medium? And what changes would bring the massification of electronic books?
